Brian’s research focuses on the use of natural products to reduce disease risk, improve physical health, and improve muscle recovery following injury and strenuous training. He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and obtained more than 3.5 million USD in externally funded research grants. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM), an editor for the Elsevier journal METHODS, and was recognized as the 2019 UNT Teacher-Scholar.

Brian will be part of a panel discussion on "Personalized Nutrition" on Day 2.
