Carlos graduated in 2000 from the University of Cadiz and obtained a master’s degree in Marine Science. He worked as a Researcher at the IFAPA Institute in Cadiz, focusing on marine microalgae biotechnology. He is also the president of the EABA – European Algae Biomass Association.
