Don is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Manitoba and Research Scientist in the PrairieNeuro Research Centre. He is an internationally recognized expert in blood-brain barrier function in both health and disease, and in methods for improving the bioavailability and delivery of both drugs and nutraceutical agents. He has received over $3.5 million in research support and published over 100 research publications and is an inventor on a dozen US patents.
